Here is what clients have to say about their experience at Broken Land Studios:

- I made the right choice in recording my debut album " Spirit of the Music" at Broken Land Studios with producer and multi- instrumentalist Alexandre Perez. On our first meeting about the project, Alex understood my recording and production needs. He took my compositions and transformed them to radio ready and shop quality tracks. Presently, I have been approached by several media outlets( Music Supervisor, Embark Music, Song Placement) for consideration for my tracks to be used for sound tracks.

- At Broken Land, Alex lets the artist dictate the process. His willingness and selflessness towards taking direction from the people creating the work, in terms of EQ'ing and mixing, is quite rare. In Cincopath, we're there every step of the way with Alex, even going so far as to point to the monitor and say, "Go up a little here," or, "Please move into the green area a bit." He's egoless, resilient to the inevitable tensions that arise when recording, and easy-going in his approach. He's skilled at diffusing obstacles in the recording process in an efficient and tactful manner.
On the flip side, Alex has been instrumental in the production of our record. The production value that he brings from his own projects are welcomed. His engineering expertise has saved takes from what would otherwise end up as scraps on the cutting room floor. Many spontaneous and experimental moments have ended up on the record because of his playful, open nature.
If you're looking to make a record (or a song) in a supportive, comfortable, unpretentious environment at reasonable rates, Alex and Broken Land Studios are the way to go. It's no wonder we keep returning for more!

- Alex understands what music is about -- joy. Even during the most grueling recording sessions he has a sense of the big picture, and through his easy manner, willingness to be both follower and guide depending on the situation, and his own love of music, he pushes his clients to get the best performance possible. You can show up with a fully-envisioned album or a vague song idea. Either way he'll jump in and start working. He's played drums, guitar and bass for me...bouncing off ideas, shaping songs, adding great leads. I can't imagine working in another environment after this experience.
